For the 4 wheeler enthusiasts - Cars to look forward in the year of 2016

With 2015 having brought some much-needed cheer to the Indian automotive industry, carmakers must currently be trying their hardest to carry forwards their momentum into the new year. Most major four-wheeler makers including Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Honda, and Toyota reported excellent sales growth figures in the festive season gone by, showing that the passenger car market was able to turn around its fortunes after the dip it faced in 2014.

2015 did end on a slight blip as the automotive industry was rocked by a series of emission scandals both in India and internationally. This includes Volkswagen's use of emissions cheating devices in its diesel offerings sold all over the world as well as the recently enforced ban on sales of diesel cars with engine capacities more than 2,000cc in New Delhi. Nevertheless, carmakers are surging ahead with their launch plans to ensure that 2016 is as successful if not more, than the year gone by. Here's a list of the 10 most anticipated upcoming cars in India.

Targeted at customers under the age of 30, which constitutes 60 per cent of India's population, the KUV100 will come with a diesel and a petrol option.
